Library Display

The Upper Southampton Historical Advisory Board (USHAB) has a picture display at the Southampton Free Library showing the progression of the library from the first building at Second Street Pike, to the present-day library on Street Road.

The library was originally a project of The Southampton Women’s Club, who purchased the original property in 1933. The Southampton Women’s Club then transferred the property to the Southampton Library Association in 1936.  Do you have memorabilia or memories for the library or The Southampton Women’s Club that you would like to share?
