Construction and Permit Procedures for all residential and non-residential

Due to the current situation regarding the COVID-19 Virus and complying with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Governors order to reopen the Construction Industry, as of May 1, 2020, Upper Southampton Township will institute the following procedure for permits and Inspections.

To make application for Building or Zoning Permits you will need to download from the Upper Southampton Website, ustwp.org, the multi-page permit application. You will also find the Township fee schedule on this site as well.  Currently applications will only be accepted via US mail or by dropping off at the Township building lobby where you will find a rack with a box to accept drop off materials. Payments must accompany the application to be accepted. (NO ENTRY TO THE LICENSES AND INSPECTIONS AREA WILL BE PERMITTED AT THIS TIME). Applications will be processed, as quickly as possible, but the time restrictions from the state UCC have been suspended.

Inspections will be scheduled based on phone calls to 215-322-9700 x 122. Please call 24 hours prior to inspection request and we will do our best to get the inspection scheduled.

All construction Guidance, policies, and procedures outlined by the Governor of Pennsylvania must be complied with. Failure to comply with these items will result in revocation of permits and penalties established in the enforcement section of the guidance from the Governor.
